The Monterey Peninsula attracts visitors from all over the world to experience our golf courses, historic sites and beautiful coastal scenery. Big draws include the ATT Pro Am, Laguna Seca Raceway, car week and Concours d'Elegance, the Monterey Bay Aquarium and much more! We're lucky to have a Regional airport that supports both commercial planes and private jets.
The Monterey Regional Airport is conveniently located just off of Highway 68 in Monterey and is a quick to drive to most places on the Peninsula. Whenever we can, we try and book a flight into and out of Monterey. Having some direct flights to Texas, Arizona, Southern California and Las Vegas make it an easy decision for many of our residents. Convenience is the key! It's a quick and inexpensive uber ride, an easy drop off or pick up for friends and family, and a speedy check in and security process. There are more than 40 flights that fly in and out of the airport and charter and private jets are also an option.
I thought I'd provide a list of the current flights and destinations. Flight schedules can change so please make sure to visit the Monterey Regional Airport website for more details.

JSX:
JSX is an independent air carrier in the United States and Mexico that describes itself as a "hop-on jet service" which operates point-to-point flights. It is a private jet operator that offers semi-private flight service. Boarding a JSX flight happens in private terminals and you deal with fewer lines and a shorter wait time when compared to flying commercial. They offer a flight to Burbank and Orange County.
The Monterey Jet Center:
Private planes and charters are also an option at the Monterey Jet Center. They have lots of concierge services for their guests including transportation services, concierge, onsite conference room and much more. It's a great way to fly!
The San Jose International and the San Francisco International are also just a couple of hours away but having the airport so close, is an added plus!
Enjoy your journey, wherever it may take you!
