Great news! Open houses and Broker tours are back! During the Pandemic, all showings were appointment only so now, buyers will be able to visit properties with a little more freedom. Social distancing and safety measures are still in place and as always, if you aren't feeling well, please stay home!
Open House Rules:
Each visitor will be required to provide their contact information on a sign in sheet when they enter the property.
Limited capacity - you may have to wait your turn before entering the home but people move through fairly quickly so don't be discouraged
Masks must be worn inside the home
Look but don't touch. Ask the listing agent to open cabinets or doors if you need to see inside and make sure to sanitize after you are finished
Open houses will be advertised online and you will also see them listed in the Monterey Herald and the Carmel Pine Cone's Real Estate edition. Keep in mind that some sellers are still uncomfortable having people walking through their home so not every home will be open to the public.
Broker Tours:
Agents will be touring homes again and we are excited to get back out there. It's a great time for us to familiarize ourselves with inventory and catch up with our realtor network. Things seem to be getting back to normal! Hooray!
