Interesting survey from Redfin. Would you buy a house sight unseen? It sounds a little scary since photos don't always give you the full picture. What is the neighborhood like? Does the property have a steep drive way? Is there a power tower right behind the house? How busy is the street? There are so many things that could be present and not shown in photos.
As an agent, I'm here to help answers many of these questions but I always prefer that my client visits the property to make sure they understand the lay of the land. My idea of what is good or bad is not necessarily the same as my client. I was surprised at the percentage below. Perhaps the tight supply is causing people to take the risk or maybe investors have a formula they follow and are willing to take the risk.....Interesting!
